Germany's Education Costs

Education in Germany is less expensive than in the US and the UK, which is one of the reasons why it is still a popular student destination.

Undergraduate tuition costs range from approximately 17,000 CAD to upwards of 58,000 CAD.

Graduate school is less expensive, with prices ranging from 8000 to 20,565 Canadian dollars.

Scholarships for German Students
  • Indian students who want to study in Germany but can't afford the tuition fees have a variety of options. These students may apply for one of the government or non-government backed scholarship programmes in addition to student loans. The following are some of Germany's most well-known higher education scholarships.

  • *DAAD scholarship - The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers this scholarship to international students who intend to pursue a variety of degrees in Germany. A number of scholarships are available under the DAAD umbrella for studying at various German institutions.

  • *Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarships – The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) Scholarships are given to students under the age of 30 who have completed a bachelor's degree in their home country.
